After graduating from The Ohio State University, Paul began his career with C&E Sales, an industrial automation distributor in Dayton, Ohio.  As a Sales Engineer, Paul’s job description included developing new accounts through territory coverage and marketing plans.  Goal oriented and self-motivated, Paul became the top revenue producer at C&E Sales.  A thorough understanding of automation systems and motion control applications enabled Paul to become a valued solutions provider and help in the design of engineered control systems.

Armed with the knowledge of distribution and manufactured products, Paul founded Marquee Automation developing a complete line of marquee displays under the name of DataVisor Marquees.  Paul developed the business model and product portfolio for this company start up.  From OEE displays to Ethernet/IP marquees, DataVisor Marquees was received well.  Paul worked with distribution channels to launch product and train sales territory managers.  DataVisor Marquee products are currently distributed through the North American channel of Exor America.

In 2009, Paul ventured into the manufacturer side of the automation world joining Yaskawa America.   Paul worked for the Drives & Motion Division as a Regional Sales Manager promoting motion solutions and managing channel distribution.  Creating demand for Yaskawa products and integrating new solutions for legacy product were part of his job responsibilities.  An extensive knowledge of Yaskawa’s products, a thorough understanding of managing channel, and a strong professional sales background helped Paul achieve sales goals and strong growth in his territory.

Paul’s 28+ year journey in the automation arena continued with his decision to join the AMMC team.  Paul was hired as their Vice President of Business Development to refresh the AMMC brand and develop new markets. Strengthening vendor relationships, developing marketing plans, and territory account management round out some of the job responsibilities of his business development.  A growing product portfolio, a strong engineering presence, and the golden rule for business relationships all help Paul and AMMC thrive in the automation market.  Golden Motion is our passion.  Ask Paul and AMMC to help you concept, design, and deploy your next machine design.
